Experiences From The Implementation Of The Bologna Process

The Center for Research and Policy Making in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Republic of Macedonia on 12th of March 2012 held a conference entitled “Experiences from the implementation of the Bologna process”.The conference aimed to reflect on the experiences from the implementation of the Bologna Declaration in the Macedonian higher education system. The conference welcomed renowned bologna experts from Macedonia and abroad.

It was opened by the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Pance Kralev, and the host of the conference Professor Velimir Stojkovski, Rector of the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius. Presenters at the conference included three national Bologna experts from Macedonia: Prof. Elena Dumova- Jovanoska from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Prof. Zamir Dika from the University of Southeastern Europe and Prof. Elizabeta Bahtovska from the University St. Kliment Ohridski. Prof. Andrej Kohont from the Faculty of Social Sciences fom Ljubljana presented the experience of the Slovenian universities, and Ms. Annemarie Oteslev from the Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalization presented the Danish experience with the Bologna process. The presentations invigorated a fruitful discussion among the conference participants – students, professors, employers and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science.
