Mr.Emilian Kavalski is the Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at the University of Western Sydney. His research interests include issues in European security governance and conceptualizations of security community building, theories and history of International Relations, Post-Cold War developments in the Balkans, the process and the implications of the eastern enlargement of the EU and NATO, the history of Balkan federalism (especially in the context of emerging national identities in the region) and analytical frameworks of state-building and democratization.
